ADINA v9.10

ADINA (Automatic Dynamic Incremental Nonlinear Analysis) is a universal program based on finite element methods for engineering linear and nonlinear calculations. ADINA can solve structural and temperature problems, calculate current, and conduct multi-physical and electrostatic simulations. Introducing programs into product development or production is the best solution to reduce prototype manufacturing costs and shorten testing time. The modern computational methods behind the ADINA program distinguish it from other programs by providing accurate and reliable results for solving nonlinear problems.

NX NASTRAN uses ADINA as a nonlinear computing module.


The Adina package consists of the following modules:

Adina Structures is a module used to calculate the static and dynamic strength of solids and structures. Considering the nonlinearity, large deformation, and contact of materials, calculations can be performed in both linear and highly non-linear wiring.

ADINA CFD is a software suite used to simulate compressible and incompressible fluid flow, using finite volume and finite element sampling.

Adina Thermal is a software module used to solve solid and structural heat transfer problems.

ADINA-FSI is a module designed to analyze flow and structural interactions, which can consider highly nonlinear material behavior due to high displacement, inelasticity, contact, and temperature dependence.

ADINA-TMC is a software module designed to address related thermal strength issues when thermal phenomena affect strength, and vice versa.

The Adina User Interface (AUI) is a pre processor and post processor module that allows you to create and edit geometric and element models, and visualize calculation results. Compatible with all modules.


Additional modules:

Adina Modeler (Adina M) is a built-in AUI module that uses the Parasolid graphics kernel to provide solid-state modeling and communicate directly with other CAD systems using Parasolid (Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Solid Edge).

Transor for I-DEAS, Patran is an independent module that allows you to import and export data files in I-DEAS and MSC. Patran formats into Adina.
